What a privilege to capture one of the most important days in any couple’s lives, to be the memory maker of this moment in time is an absolute honour. I seem to have come full circle with wedding photography – one of my first paid shoots while I was still a photography student was a wedding and then they certainly paid the bills in the early days of my career. As my commercial work grew more demanding, I took on only the occasional knot-tying event, but now that I have moved to the Karoo, I am rediscovering the joy and pleasure of documenting this occasion of love and happiness.
